I just got kinda bored of going "Hey, don't know what this is go look it up" in the warnings for my stories, especially since I have some very specific types of vore I center my focus on that you might not find in a quick trip to Google/wikipedia.  Also, please bear in mind that all the information here comes from what I know from personal experience looking around and such.  If there's something I haven't covered, let me know--I may or may not include it depending on it's relation to the sort of work I tend to do.

A little bit about vore in general:
:bulletred:  Vore is short for "vorarephillia" (I've seen a few spellings, but this is the first I came across, so...).  It is a fetish relating to swallowing another, being swallowed, or observing the act.  So works bearing the warning lable of "vore" contain a character swallowing another character.
:bulletorange:  There are two main categories of vore:  hard vore and soft vore.  In hard vore, the prey is consumed in the method you eat food--there is ripping, chewing, that sort of thing.  In soft vore, the prey is swallowed whole and often times alive.
:bulletyellow:  There are three main sub-categories of vore (by "main" I mean the ones I see most often):  Oral vore, Genital vore, and anal vore.  They are all exactly what they sound like.
:bulletgreen:  There are quite a few other types of vore, including breast vore, tail vore, absorption vore, plant vore, etc.  Pretty much anything you can think of can be somehow used for it, really.
:bulletblue:  There are many specific sub-types of vore, such as micro/macro where one character is much smaller/larger than the other, same-size vore, and more.
:bulletpurple:  Vore can either be fatal or non-fatal.  It's a fantasy fetish for the most part (unless you count things like getting killed and eaten by wild animals), so some people decided to take it further with things like the non-fatal stuff.  Other times the prey is simply regurgitated before digestion can kill them or harm them too much.

A little bit about the work I will post here:
:bulletred:  All of my work will be soft, non-fatal vore with very few, if any, exceptions.  At this time, I have no plans for any fatal vore projects.
:bulletorange:  At this time, all projects I have planned will be oral vore, because I don't care much for the other types.
:bulletyellow:  The vast majority of my work will be male/male, though I may throw some male/female in there.  But don't count on it.
:bulletgreen:  The majority of my work will be protection and/or comfort vore.  In this case the pred swallows the prey in order to provide them with protection, and comfort.
:bulletblue:  There will be times when the prey is a bit scared at first, or even outright terrified.  However, in the end they will come to enjoy it once they realize they are in no danger at all and are as safe as they could possibly be.
:bulletpurple:  To me, the idea of being so completely protected and so incredibly close to one you care greatly for is what I like. The level of trust that the "prey" must have in the pred to allow it is immense.
:bulletblack:  The idea of the pred wanting to protect the prey in the most complete and intimate way possible, holding them within themselves, is also something I like.
:bulletpurple:  I greatly enjoy prey who are happy to be so close to the pred because, really, how can one be closer to somebody than literally inside of them, almost part of them?
:bulletblue:  I also enjoy situations where the prey originally believes they will die, but is alright with it because they care so deeply for the pred they are willing to give their life to sustain the pred, and desire to be as useful as possible--and how can you be more useful than that, sacrificing yourself to fulfill the needs of another who you are so devoted to?
:bulletgreen:  In the above situations, however, the prey will always end up surviving.
:bulletyellow:  I don't mind digestion, and will have works that include it--however in each situation it is painless, and the prey is "reformed" afterwards.  I don't plan to write anything fatal, like I said.  It's fantasy already, why not go even farther?
:bulletyellow::bulletyellow:  There is one exception to this.  I may include pain initially, though it will end painlessly.  I may also include "semi-fatal" digestion, in which the "prey" is reformed a significant amount of time after digestion occurs.

Why I like vore--a quick summary so I don't have to retype it over and over and over when explaining it to people.
